Game crash when I try to join the server

Hello

I recently downloaded PR after not playing it for a long time.
Now I have a problem which makes me to CTD every time I try to join a server

after looking for a solution I tried to re install BF2 and to update my drivers
I also found my problem got nothing with the audio

Please help me. I really wish to play PR agian.

If you are running any type of overlay program, shut that off completely before starting PR.
TS3 overlay, Overwolf, RAPTR, MSI Afterburner, etc.

Are you sure your CDKey is valid?

Are you using USB audio ?

Does vanilla BF2 online multiplayer work?

venilla bf2 didnt worked as well and yes I am using a USB audio

but it seems like the problem was with Overwolf working
just manged to join a server so thanke

Overwolf does work with PR.
However:
You must use the 32 bit version of Teamspeak3.
You must start overwolf AFTER you have joined the online multiplayer server.

Thank you Litoralis, my PR kept crashing upon joining a server and I couldn't find out why. Reinstalled the entire BF2 and everything. Turns out I totally forgot I installed Overwolf once (to try out the recording function) and had it running ever since. Overwolf is what caused the crashes. I turned it off and now everything works fine.
