My Project Reality is closing in different moments when I start the game.
The game was closing without any error message, just showing the "PR was closed, cleaning caches" that usually appears after you quit the game.
I've already searched in the forum about this problem and I found someone saying that if I clean up the shader cache it would probably solve the problem and it has solved for a moment. I started the game and I played a full round. But, when the next map has loaded and I was going to click the "squad assignment", the game has closed and it showed the message "PR was closed, cleaning cache".
Any suggestions?

I'm not that good at troubleshooting but can you read something from the prlauncher.log in your Battlefield2/mods/pr/bin folder?

Re: PR closes even before the game starts
Thanks for posting the error log.
Can you post your system specs please.
Start PRLauncher->Support button->'Copy to Clipboard' button,
then paste everything to this thread.

Re: PR closes even before the game starts
Here it is. Note that I have changed everything to "Low" settings. I also noticed that the first time that I download the map, the game closes and show the message "PR was closed, cleaning resources". But, If I open the game again and join the same server that has loaded before, I can play it without any problems.Code: Select all

Display Device(s): Generic PnP Monitor on Intel(R) HD Graphics
I think you are running out of RAM/virtual memory . Your integrated graphics shares the system RAM, sounds like you are just out of RAM when loading a map.
Try running Razer Gamebooster to automate shutting down background processes to free up system RAM/virtual memory.
Does vanilla BF2 online multiplayer work?

Re: PR closes even before the game starts
Yeah it works. I think that I'm getting problems with the PR because of the amount of things to render.
Yesterday, I tried something new: I changed the priority to "High" of the PRBF2.exe in the task manager and I joined the CIA and played 4 full rounds in different maps without any problems. But today, the problem seems to have "returned".
Pretty confusing. I'll try the Gamebooster tip.

Try Razer gamebooster
also, download bitsum ProcessLasso Free. Make sure you download the 64 bit version.
Process Lasso - Automate and optimize process priorities, CPU affinities, power profiles, and more!
It automates setting the PRBF2.exe executable to High priority, it can also do a few other neat tricks to improve gaming performance for all your games.
