SCAR
Will the SCAR be making it into PR? i skimmed through an article on it today in Tactical Combat Magazine, it was called something like that. It looks like a nifty gun

The SCAR Series is an odd looking duck that is for sure, however to be honest it is just now coming into the limelight... little has been discussed with regards to formal adoption timelines. The terms of the announcement heralding it's contract talked about the contract being awarded an Indefinite Delivery Time and Indefinite Quantity of numbers. Though we do know for FY 2005 the program has been awarded $634,000 but were all waiting to see delivery dates and numbers produced...

Re: SCAR
As of now there are no plans to include the SCAR in-game, mostly because as TR said, no sources seem to have any idea when it will actually be delivered or fielded. Also, we may not always be keeping the basic BF2 timeline for PR.keef_haggerd wrote:Will the SCAR be making it into PR? i skimmed through an article on it today in Tactical Combat Magazine, it was called something like that. It sure has a diffrent style to it, personally, I like the overall look of the reciever and fore grip system, i think the should have gone with a stock similar to the H&K MP5 style, either collapsible or folding. I think I read somewhere that the SCAR is going to be used primarily with the Special Forces (Rangers, SEALs, etc.)
