LAV-3, cannon round effect bug
In the Canadian LAV-3, the HE/AP rounds effect seems to turn to the right slightly, this didn't happen before.

Forgot to mention, also the same with LAV-25 cannon rounds. It's very slight but you can see the rounds going to the right a bit in the video I hope.

It looks to me like the gunner's camera is located to the right of the actual weapon, and the observed movement of fire to the right is the convergence of the rounds with the point of aim.

Re: LAV-3, cannon round effect bug
so, the shoots come out from you vision not from the barrel of the gun, so that's why doesn't matter if your gun is physically obstructed but if your sights can aim at the target you will hit it and the effect pass trough the object, happen allot with tanks, the 7.62 is the only ting we need to care about position.Walmarx wrote:It looks to me like the gunner's camera is located to the right of the actual weapon, and the observed movement of fire to the right is the convergence of the rounds with the point of aim.
also in tank the driver some times not see the fire of the gun or see the shoot going above at the target and seems the gunner missed.

I cant really see anything wrong with this. I also looked at it ingame, but the only thing i see is the usual deviation.viirusiiseli wrote:Forgot to mention, also the same with LAV-25 cannon rounds. It's very slight but you can see the rounds going to the right a bit in the video I hope.

2A42 is similar, i think it has to do with the ROF on the BMP-2 atleast.

Re: LAV-3, cannon round effect bug
Is it really moving to one side constantly? I could only see the usual deviation. And as Roque said the projectiles are fired of the center of the screen and should hit always where you point at (with deviation of course).Kerryburgerking wrote:2A42 is similar, i think it has to do with the ROF on the BMP-2 atleast.
