FLIR TADS targeting thru HUD,you had the ability to switch seats.As stated it was..well still is..the most realistic helicopter simulator to this day.In fact a gamer in the UK,who incidentally was a real pilot,designed a helmet just for the game.

The great heli flight sim"Janes Apache LongBow " series had it right..the cannon fired wherever you were looking.Too bad it can't be duplicated

Everyone has their own perspective.but both games in the series had 2 different modes of play,scalable @ the options screen:Arcade,which was simplistic,and Realistic,the most difficult for anyone new to flying considering flight controls,handling,HUD and targeting were similar to an actual Apache And this thread is straying too far off course from the original topic
