I agree with pronk, the pre-game spamming is just ridiculous and the fact that it is allowed by the admins is even more so. No one in my squad could hear me due to about 10 or so people just filling up the airwaves with ****. Please please change this rule, its just beyond me why any one would think its a good idea to allow mumble spam.

We don't allow mumble spam?

And it's somewhat hard to moderate mumble spam end-game. I have been starting to temp-ban people who start talking during squad timer.

It's more about the spamming during the timer in the beginning of the round.

That was also the day Devastation had to go to the E.R cause he had a headache after having to ban two+ people. I had him stage a server shut down so we could have room for maintenance this week without my inbox being spammed.

If you consider it abuse, lets continue this conversation via PM.

Q: How to protect your server from eastern europeans(and western aswell i think)?
A: Set it up in Kansas.

I've got ping about 300, not playable. Sad.

Hey,
My friend says that mumble doesnt work on this server. Is it true or does he have some issues with his mubmle?

I know a select few people have had a problem with It. When the server first came out, i did too, but a simple restart of the mumble client fixed it immediately. So if you do join up and experience problems with your mumble, just restart it and you should be fine.

I suddenly have a 280 ping on the server. This is quite unfortunate. Now the Europeans have no proper server to play on during daytime. The ping might be just temporarily, at least I hope so.

Nah... It's jumping sideways. Once i was playing with 180, and since that day i've never had anything close to it. Bren4n stole all the players.

Ping is fixed, it was a client side issue.

Ask him to restart it, to restart it there's a hidden icon tray on the bottom right with an arrow pointing up, click the arrow, right click on the PR logo and click "quit", that should restart his mumble, it will start back up in 5 seconds automatically. If he needs help ask him to come to ts.prta.co! I will be there along with others to assist him.

They will in about a day; we are getting our mumble servers registered for the German server thanks to Wicca & PRTA! And then the West Coast server should have some transparency for the Aussies, hence the server message you get now and then.

You mean only the *** who have not changed that Win 7-setting after installing the OS... -.- normal PR players have that arrow disabled...

Don't think so, last few times I checked you were "there", okay, but your speaker muted ALL the time? wtf, I have to talk to you about some other issue...

There's a 'poke' feature, and my speakers are never muted, my microphone is.

And get on ts if you have the questions.

Edit: Still not on ts, now are you?

Edit: Still haven't seen you..

Edit: Have you tried to poke me?

Edit: I'm going to bed.
