it is possible to acquire a license to open a public server for hostgame?

Hello guys! again I want to congratulate the great job you are always doing, and they are getting better!

My question is the following. is possible I get a license to open a public server for everyone, renting a server directly with a company that rents game servers? I can mention which company? For the company's website says support the MOD Project Reality ... Thanks for the help guys! :D

The answer is yes.

These are the only requirements to obtain a server licence:
A Project Reality Server License requires that server administrators meet the following requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must agree and understand the Project Reality Server License Agreement.
Must submit a completed Server License Application. All information will be verified before the application is approved.
Must keep all user and server information up to date. We closely monitor this information and will periodically check that servers meet all requirements outlined in the server license agreement. Licenses will be deleted without warning if, for example, servers are listed as being offline.
User Server License
User Licenses are for individual users, clans, and other small organizations who wish to host public and/or private (passworded) Project Reality Servers. By default, a single User License is allowed to add up to 3 game servers and 5 license moderators. These servers must be internet facing (i.e. respond to server queries), and hosted at a data-centre. We do not issue licenses for home hosted or LAN-only servers.

IMPORTANT: You must have a BF2 dedicated server running on the IP/port in your application. If no server is detected, the application cannot be processed and will be deleted.

So basically you need to rent the BF2 server and then submit the application.

Some of the the server admins might want to step in here... but from my experience there is a big difference between 'supporting the MOD' and allowing you access to really support the mod. What I'm talking about here is giving you the ability to install things like the AD framework, making changes to the server files like the maplist and configs - i.e; do they give you RDP access or do they give you BF2CC ?

^ just a couple of points to consider before you waste some money on server rental.

Another thing to consider as well is that there are already a lot of servers up, and only a small portion are populated. Just check PRSPY to see it. I don't mean to be a downer but it wouldn't support the mod to have yet another empty server. On the flip side, if you host it and it gets popular than cudos to you. But that will be difficult to do.

Either way all the best if you try

Thanks for the reply! I will examine and actually to run a dedicated server is much better ... thanks for the help!

Yes, it's true! I think the same way ... the problem is that currently much of Latin players are not satisfied with the current management for us (speaking our language) ... really want to improve, but if not better, we have to do something! Thanks for the comment!
