prmumble only crashes when VIA HD Audio frontpanel headphones is set to independent

Howdy,

when I set VIA HD Audio driver to redirected/diverted (mine is german localized) then prmumble wants to be a working process.

But when the audio driver is set to independent headphones for the frontpanel (what also gives more dB to the output what I really do like) prmumble definitely sucks

What is this about?
The audio codec, the corresponding drivers and so on are out there for years but a voip software won't run with these?
Disgusting.
