Mouse shuttering or just regular lag.

Post by 22cal »

*I posted this in the wrong forum, should have been in technical support*

I never had a lag issue with PR were when I moved the mouse the frame jumps. It
happens on all public servers like =HOG= and FCVPR and on almost every game i play.

I did get a new mouse 2 days ago, but I tested PR first and it passed with flying colors. After I discovered the movement lag, I tested my old mouse aswell, and it to did the same lag with no difference.

Keep in mind on 2nd video, I am moving my mouse side to side when running. Any other movement that seems to fast or regular at 1200DPI is the mouse shutter.

I have no idea why every server does this to me now, but I would like help to solving this problem.

Yeah, this sounds more like mouse drivers (drivers in plural) being a problem.
IMHO, You have one mouse and two drivers running in background, both polling the mouse, causing weirdness.

I just bought a G600 to replace a MX518 and had same problem , I had two versions of Logitech drivers installed and running at same time, drivers were released at least 2 years in age different so were really incompatible and screwing my mouse up.

I purchased the Anker 8200.

I cannot find any drivers for my old Logitech M510. I uninstalled my current drivers and reinstalled them. Now the problem just consists only in PR, and the only servers that do this are servers with people in them. Could it still be my mouse, or could it be actual lag in the game that jumps me around when I look around or move?

*Note* The cursor in or out of the game does not jump. When I open the squad screen and move my mouse it is smooth.

Could it be an anti-virus program scanning sth. on your HDD (or checking the input, looking for key-logger for example) while playing?

Did you try singleplayer vanilla BF2 ?

Solved!

I have anti-virus, but was not interfering with my mouse. So I just turned off my firewall, restarted pc and it stopped doing the mouse shutter.

vBF2 singleplayer did not have that problem the entire time.

For future reference, what firewall are you using that did this?

Just my regular firewall. Could have been another program that stopped running when I rebooted, but I have no idea if their was a program hidden in the background.

If this problem happens in the future, then I will take an extra look at my programs running, and post that program on this thread.

i had the same problem . and I FIXED it .
mine was virus . if u recently downloaded an unsafe crack follow this :
rundll32.exe
delete this files (4) from windows folder by UNLOCKER software . it is the virus .
when u stop the process in task manager , you will feel the difference .
I'm an online gamer (COD4) . it was so bad .
i changed my windows 1 time before i discover this !
