[Animation] What do you want changing?
Just been reading about the runnning when crouched idea and it made me think there maybe other animation stuff you want changing.
This inbcludes any motion related thing, 1p or 3p, and also on weapons. If you are unsure if it is an animation task - post it anyway and I'll reply!

The SA-80 should be cocked with the left hand instead of the right...

I like the roll sideways when prone for the "strafing when prone" movement. Ideally though the 1p view is also affected.
I also think we need to lose the hideous "stop, drop and roll" animation in BF2. The 3p animation looks ridiculous (and is actually more suited to the "strafing when prone" animation mentioned above). And there is no 1p representation of this aside from a little "wiggle" in your view.

Stuff like this would be about # 1,234,912 on the list. Sorry to say but it's purely eye candy. There's a lot of stuff that can affect game play dynamics that can be done with animations that would be in the top 1,000 on the to do list.Darth.Skyline wrote:HOLSTER !!! I posted this elsewhere.... but probably more pertinent here:
It should take a lot longer to transition to these weapons (getting into position, turning off safeties, popping out sights, etc.), and they should only be able to be fired from standing or crouched positions, if possible.

Shoulder-Fired rocket transition ...orignally brought up by fuzzhead:This has likely been brought up elsewhere, but I haven't seen it yet... US Reloading animations could use some work... You don't need to pull the charging handle after inserting a fresh mag in a real m4/m16... the bolt should already be in the rear position, you only need to hit the bolt release and tap the forward assist (if even).
Same for pistols... the slide should lock back after the last round and all you would need to do is slap in a new mag and hit the slide release.
Personally, I'm right-handed and always reload with my left hand, never raising the weapon (waving my barrel at the enemy... "hey guys I'm right here!") or taking my eyes off of the target... well... I should say thats what I TRY to do... takes quite a bit of training and practice to get it right. It would be awesome to at least give SF class a quicker reload animation.
