You don't go black and white with a single card either.

Ya i dont go black and white with a single card. I sued to before 1.0. I thought they just changed it. I still use the term "black and white" though.

And on some maps my FPS looks normal. But in some other maps (+ when look at smokes) my FPS drops so much.

I'm consufed which option is better for me and heard that if I set my settings higher in stead of lower my FPS will be better.

So , waiting for your hand to get rid of this FPS problem. I don't need best graphics but I need graphics that don't effect my gameplay with a good FPS.

Save me guyz :)

Asus G55V
Win 8
Intel I7 - 3630qm 2.4GHz
12 Gb RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660M 2Gb

I play with all settings on high at 1080p, get between 45 and 60 fps.
Sometimes the fps drops to 20-25 for a second, but that's it.

Reminder: Windows 8 sucks for older games.

I'm surprised you can even play with windows 8.

If i play on multiplayer, which is most of the time, i will play at the lowest settings. (Because of the other hundred people playing)

Unless your rig is like 10 years old or is a budget laptop that's not meant for gaming, it should have no problem running PR. Here's a shot of the ultra-budget rig I built last year that literally doesn't even have a case (the board just sits on top of the box it came in):

I play 1920x1080 with everything maxed out and 8x AA and have never run into a situation where FPS was a problem. I haven't tried it with SweetFX yet, but I plan to.

Do you have the right drivers installed? Sometimes with older or low-end hardware you'll actually have better performance if you use an older driver version. If you're following that guide and using SweetFX, it might just be too much for your card to handle. Just get rid of SweetFX and it'll run butter smooth and still look decent.

I can't play PR...Yet. I'm getting a new machine in 1-2 weeks.
Specs:
Motherboard: ASUS H81M-K
CPU: Intel Core i5 4440 3.1 GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 1GB DDR5
Memory: Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
So, will I run it fine on this rig?

I run the game full low (I'll post resolution later) with 80% view distance at 20-25 fps depending on the map and what I am looking at.

Smoke really doesn't lag me for some reason. Another thing is for some reason I run the game better at higher resolutions than at lower ones.

I used to play 0.98 with 17 constant FPS. Maybe a little higher sometimes. But then one time I was playing Kashan skirmish and got 30 FPS, and I was like:"What magic is this? Is this how the others play?". I planned to get a new PC but then shit happened, but now I'm getting one and there will be no happier person than me when I load up PR. :D

Never really noticed it, I always assumed I would have medium (as PR is quite performance heavy). But apparantly my custom PC is able to handle it high.

Actually I went down to extreme-low settings since v1.0. I played v0.9** on high, around 30fps and not I get 16fps on some maps.

You should probably try to run some parameters on high or medium, to see how it works out.

Although I don't have that computer anymore (specs on my page), I tried what you said when I did have it and no good results came of it.
