Hi all, Im struggling to get my X52 working in PR... have never managed to get it working properly in BF2 either for that matter.
I have tried programming through the PR interface and making new profiles with the Saitek software, both have the same result. I get the throttle to work 100%, but only the rudder seems to work on the stick, all other axis are unresponsive.
So far I have only tried getting helicopter controls to function and can confirm the stick hardware and software are fully functional as it works fine with full programming in RoF and IL21946.
My X52 is the standard version, not pro. I have read that PR comes with a custom X52 pro profile, is it possible this may be conflicting somehow?
Any help getting me airborne would be much appreciated.
Cheers

I'm not sure if it's still applicable, but ages ago with the 1.5 patch, you had to delete all "Falcon" inputs to get flight-sticks to work properly.

You also have to only use one of the "primary" / "secondary" axis options and delete the other. I can't remember exactly which one it was, but I have the x52 standard and it worked after I fixed that. So all axis either on primary or on secondary, try them all on the same axis that you already have the rudder on.

Try this:
1. reset all aircraft and helicopter controls to default
2. DO NOT touch "primary" controls. Leave them assigned to your keyboard/mouse.
3. assign joystick settings under "secondary" controls.

Yep, that worked a treat, thanks Arab.Arab wrote:Try this:

Really disappointed with the 'feel' of it though. Using the stick and throttle is great, but it seems REALLY sloppy across all choppers - better of course on the smaller agile ones such as the little bird... but they just don't seem to 'fly right' might just take a bit more practise I guess... been mouse flying for a long time
Think Ill need to get my hours up in coop so I don't go flying squads into hillsides and getting myself banned from trans birds
