Error report/log

Post by general_Lee_USA »

I keep getting disconnected about 20-30min into a round with the message You lost connection with he server. Is there an error report or activity log that I can view to help see what's causing the disconnections? I'm trying to troubleshoot the cause of the problem. Thanks much

I remember reading somewhere that there is a log file for BF2/PR, punkbuster, and or mumble.

in the support thread: link

summary of thread:

fixes start appearing on page 6 some seem to work some not.
page 25 we start figuring out its the modem/routers.
NOTE: The ARRIS model# WBM760A Modem/Router and several other related ARRIS MODEM/ROUTERS ARE a KNOWN SOURCE OF THIS PROBLEM. In the USA, Comcast customers who have the triple play tv/internet/telephone package, get these arris modems when you sign the Comcast contract. You CAN get another modem from Comcast.

Cabo Telecom in BRasil also uses these Arris modems.

had an arris model# WBM760A modem, so i went to see my isp....switched to a Motorola modem and now no more disconnects...i had to lower my internet speed from 30 to 8 because the only Motorola modem they had can only support 10mb...but finally i can play the only game i truly love again.
In case it's an Internet related issue, I'd check the modem first. You can check most modem's logs and status by entering this URL: 192.168.100.1 at your address bar.
