Feedback/tactics for insurgent sapper and engineer

What does everyone think of the sapper class for insurgents? Should it should be changed in any way? Also, I can't think of any ways of using it to make it more effective than the RPG (good against both inf and vehicles) or the MG kits so I wanted to ask if you guys could share any strategies you may have. And do you ever go out of your way to get the engineer class that's at main (mine, mortar, and wrench)? I doesn't really seem worth taking but I wanted to know what other people think.

I would take the ins engi kit next version for sure ;)

OMG! Are you suggesting that the engineer kit has been improved??? Perhaps a bigger IED??? Maybe an inconspicuous goat packed full of explosives that can be led to the enemy via one of those extendable leashes??? I'm writhing in my seat with anticipation.
