Now I would like to have a new PC. I have around ?1000,- to spend, even more but I don't want to exaggerate. I want a good gaming rig that can run PR well, even on maps such as Fallujah and Sbeneh. At the moment I play a lot of PR, but I would like to play other games which are asking more from the GPU.

Good cooling is a must for me. A PSU as well. At the moment I tend to suffer from a lot of bluescreens.

Here's what I recommend you generally get (I have a similar setup for my steambox)--

Coolermaster HAF Case
The case is cheap and looks nice, one of the more popular modern cases for pro's and noobs.

GTX 860/870
The new line of nVidia cards are coming out very, very soon (1-3 months) and that's when the new generation of video technology is coming out, I suggest you wait for them to come out. I discourage using ATI/AMD cards because they aren't as good and they run very hot, same goes for APUs, I would encourage an APU if your budget was 600 but it's a thousand. Also, when the 800 series come out the 600 & 700 series' prices will drop in case you don't want a modern generation card.

Intel i5/i7 Haswell CPU's
These things are monsters, very small but very versatile, I have one on my steambox and it's amazing. I suggest Intel because they have a higher integrity of performance and reliability.

Standard 650w-800w PSU
PSUs are pretty straightforward, make sure you buy one with reliable RMA service, I suggest big brands like Corsair, OCZ, CoolerMaster, remember the better PSU you get (with more watts) will result in less hassle when upgrading because you won't have to replace your PSU.

Western Digital Black^2
The black^2 comes as a hybrid drive, it's a laptop size (not full size HD) but features good technology with good speeds. It has 120GB of Solid State storage and then has 1TB for data, good especially if you are looking at a mini-itx case/build plus for budget performance.

Motherboard (varies, if you choose 1150 socket intel)
If you end up chosing the 1150 socket there is a large variety, get something basic that fits your needs. ASRock, Asus, MSi, all good companies.

Optical Drive
Up to you, I keep it basic; DVD-ROM baby!

RAM
RAM for personal gaming computers (for me) doesn't mean a lot, in this year I believe anything between 1333hz+ is good. ECC is an overkill if you ever consider it. The magic number for RAM nowadays for lightweight gamers like you would be 8GB, if you plan on doing things like 3D model multitasking/video editing look at 16GB.

Cooling
Take advantage of your in-case fans, feel free to use the heatsink that comes with the intel 1150 CPU if you end up with that, but I warn you that it's not the best idea to use stock CPU coolers, I would encourage a corsair h60+ if you have the money.

Bronk, indeed, 2 years ago the DUAL-core (not even quad!!) i5 CPU 650 was already out of date since 2010 or even older... :p

Also the GFX card (550 Ti) could have at least been the 560 Ti if not already a 6xx series card... bit expensive deal imo...

I don't know about that motherboard. And btw 8 GB RAM is good!! :)

Depends on which brands you choose, should be within your price range.

Lol i have no problems with amd. Drivers are alot better now and if youre on a budget you cant beat them. 299 for a r9 280x which has the same if not better performance than its nvidia rival the 770. Obviously stick to intel for cpu as their single thread performance is much better than similar priced amd cpus which obviously is better for pr
