I am currently running Project Reality v1.1.6.0 on two PC's one (i5 2600k at 2.4 GhZ, 4GB Ram, Intel HD 4000, 750GB Hard Drive) Which runs the game max at about 50-60FPS
Then there is the other computer. (AMD 64 Anthlon X2 4000+ 2.1 GhZ, 2GB Ram, Nvidia GeForce 8500GT and 320GB Hard Drive) for some reason this setup, which is well above system requirements for Battlefield 2, for some reason the game struggles to stay above 25FPS, and the same goes for PR, but PR lags far more and it's nearly unplayable.
Every setting is ether low or disabled, and i want to know if it's a sign i need to upgrade my PC or something needs to be done with the game.
EDIT: Battlefield 2 actually seems to run very smoothly on lowest settings.

The objects, textures and almost everything, really, is more intensive than Vanilla BF2.
Try more ram.

Re: Low Framerate on lowest settings
Might do that, when i can afford the ram and open up the PC, but with the specifications, i am really surprised, as i remember the computer running BF2 and mods far better than it does now...Adalaxy wrote:The objects, textures and almost everything, really, is more intensive than Vanilla BF2.

I guess i can thank the fact the damn computer is 7 years old!

Re: Low Framerate on lowest settings
You need to decrease the resolution.
Low settings gave me only 5FPS advantage, but decreasing resolution from 1920 to 1280, with everything on high, brought 30 FPS
