V1.2 Operation Archer LAV Stays tracked
We got tracked in a LAV on the map operation archer and were not able to repair it. The damage of the APC got repaired at the repair station but the APC remained tracked.

I guess you tried jumping out and back into the driver seat? Also did it only happen to 1 APC or all of them?mikeyboyz wrote:We got tracked in a LAV on the map operation archer and were not able to repair it. The damage of the APC got repaired at the repair station but the APC remained tracked.
It seems weird, because if it gets disabled it should also be enabled again. Its both python and works for all other vehicles. My guess is that python had a little hiccup there and forgot your APC.
Next time this happens you could carefully try to damage the apc and trigger the disabled code again. Be sure to get clearance from an admin before tho, could get you kicked otherwise.

We ran into the same problem with the LAV-25 on Yamalia. Although the LAV was just "semi-tracked" from the LAT. It was still driving in a straight line but it was hanging to the side.
@mats:
We also tried to debug it with C4 from breacher but it didn't work.

Ok seems to be general issue then. Will investigate.Geronimo wrote:We ran into the same problem with the LAV-25 on Yamalia. Although the LAV was just "semi-tracked" from the LAT. It was still driving in a straight line but it was hanging to the side.

Edit: Tried to reproduce this bug, but had no success. Just do be sure which vehicle it was: Was it the LAV3 or the Coyote?

It was the LAV3 yes.
And like Geronimo says, we weren't fully tracked. We were just kinda hanging to the side like the tires were flat. We were able to drive but with a lot of shaking going on.
It only happened with that one LAV, and only once. Any other LAV's used that round were fine.
If I remember right, we didn't even smoke or anything. We got hit by something (L-AT or even a Anti Air) and were fine for some bit. Then when we relocated (maybe because of terain damage) we suddenly got tracked. All this time we were not smoking at all... Only after a logi dropped us a repair station, we started smoking, burning and eventually we were repaired. Still tracked..
