Random CTD Whilst Playing

Before the patch I was occasionally running into the problem of sudden random CTD's on the map Black Gold. Since the patch this issues is occurring at some point on the majority of maps that I've tried.

Sometimes I only manage to play for 10 mins, other times maybe 30 mins before the game quits completely with no error message.

My PC runs all my other games with no problems, e.g:
Red Orchestra 2 (on-line) on high settings 65 fps
Arma 3 (SP), mid to high settings average 35-40 fps
BF4 (Campaign) high settings 40 fps
... and many other games, including vanilla BF2 and mods such as Alpha Project, without issues.

N.B. lowering graphics setting, as in my off-line account, has NOT prevented the CTD's

I have searched the forums for a solution, but can't find anything useful so far. I've updated my .exe's to allow 4GB, but it has had no effect on the CTD's. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

PRLauncher->Options->Video tab->UNTICK the Fullscreen tickbox.->Click Apply.

When in windowed mode when PR crashes it will create a popup window with the exact error message.
