gun to close aim

Theres a mod for the ut2004 engine which i forget the name based on WW2 if i remember right.

basicly when you right click for scope or iron sights you see the gun move from the default position all the way up as it moves closer until your in the 'zoomed' position. all this happens really quickly but you stil see it and it looks really realistic.

basicly most games just flick another screen like bf2 with it zoomed in well it would be cool to see the gun do the motions of getting in to position.

yes i suggested the same, im sure PR is going to have an actual animation to switch between normal sights and iron sights, also they will have gun sway just as brother in arms will, as long as all this is possible of course =)

The name of the mod is Red Orchestra might I add. I like how their iron sights were set up, and I think the setup would find a loving home in PR :D

Hopefully, when you switch to iron sights and swing your weapon around, the sights won't stay zeroed the whole time -- You have to give it a second for your sights to line back up from the sway of moving your weapon. ...If that makes sense to anyone, I'm bad at wording things sometimes

^^ makes sense. i agree with you because you cant limit aim with breathing and running etc as much because the game wil loose all its aggressiveness. gotta be able to attack on foot while moving still.
