Vanilla BF2 via PR server

Can I play with normal BF2 via PR profile server in the future?

The day will come when BF2 server shut down. So we can't play vanilla BF2 online any more because we can't login to account server. But PR team made their account server in PR 1.2. I heard FH2 is same.

I love BF2 very much. I'm still playing vanilla and many mods. My friends too. We want to play them much longer.
Can I use that server in vanilla or other mods? If not, do you have any plans to adopt it?

I know this is a selfish idea, and I don't know how many people who have interest in vanilla BF2 are there. But I hope I could use it in vanilla...
