[HELP] BF2 Editor crashes when creating new terrain

All of a sudden whenever I try to create a new terrain in bf2 editor, the editor crashes. When I go into the folder of the new terrain this is all that is there.



I have tried uninstalling bf2 editor and reinstalling but the issue still occurs, I have also tried removing all special characters from the name of the map and tried both 512x2 and 1024x2 but it still crashes.

had this some years ago only solution was to format the pc and make a fresh install of windows

i had a workaround and created the maps on my laptop and copied them to my pc.

I had this as well when I had it on my laptop, for me it was a memory issue, just couldnt handle it
