Constant connection loss after 1.2

Post by Fir3w411 »

Since 1.2 came out, I've been having numerous connection loss issues all the time on almost every round I play.

What happens is I am in the middle of a round, and I begin getting the connection loss messages on my screen. It either disconnects me completely the first time, or it goes away, and comes back 20 seconds - 2 minutes later, and completely disconnects me. It's really irritating. I never had a client side connection issue before 1.2

My internet is fine, I do not lose internet connection when this occurs, just connection to the server I am on. I've asked others and they say they have the same sometimes. I have no clue what it may be, and I need help.

Thanks

Maybe just server problems? I haven't experienced this, only when the server is crashing

Can you run a ping -t to the server host while playing, and check if there is a packet loss issue that correlates with your connection problems to the server?

It says no packets were lost

Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
