=DRK= Scenario Sundays

Well, Scenario Sundays is back! Seven months ago was the last Scenario Sundays event, I think we all feel that it is necessary for this to be back in the Project Reality community as we've been getting bugged recently about this event and where it has been.

Scenario Sundays is a weekly event run by the =DRK= Drakelings Gaming Community under Bluedrake's management that contains Admin Enforced Gametype Events played on the "Free Candy Van Bravo" server. Gametypes consist of the all-mighty & famous "P.O.W" or "Prisoner of War", "V.I.P." or "Very Important Person", "FOB Defense", "Occupation", "Infiltration", and "V.I.P Escort".

P.O.W: Prisoner of War (Rescue Gametype)
Objective: Ensure the safe rescue of a captured operative.

Execution
1. Attackers (rescuing team) will remain at the main operations base until notified by a referee.
2. POW will be delievered by the attacking team unconditionally under enforced "God Mode" to get the POW quickly to where he/she will be secured at by the defending team, location will be announced at the event start.
3. Attackers will have one hour and thirty minutes to complete the operation.

Victory Conditions
Defenders Win IF:
- P.O.W is executed after the one hour and thirty minute mark.
- P.O.W is killed outside of cell after an escape/rescue attempt.
- P.O.W is killed by attacker crossfire.

Attackers Win IF:
- P.O.W is extracted to attackers operations base alive.
- P.O.W is killed inside of cell by defenders before the one hour and thirty minutes has elapsed.

FOB Defense
Objective: Destroy enemy FOBs across the map.

Execution
1. Attackers will remain at the operations base until an admin/referee has declared game start.
2. Defenders will have fifteen minutes to build 1-3 firebases in areas able to be accessed by the other team of their desire. (In some cases in AAS, certain flags/areas may be off limits due to ticket loss-gain).
3. After the first fifteen minutes of the round defenders can no longer build new firebases on the map, however if a FOB is damaged it may be "redug". *Emplacements are allowed as well.
4. Upon mission start, attackers will have one hour and thirty minutes to find and destroy all the firebases build by the defending team on the map.

Victory Conditions
Defenders win if a minimum of one firebase is still active after the time has elapsed.
Attackers win if all firebases are completely destroyed.

Occupation
Objective: Wipe out enemy forces at a marked location and construct a functional FOB to allow advancing forces deploy in the area.

Execution
1. A high profile location will be announced to all teams. Defenders will have fifteen minutes to secure the position. A marker will then be placed on the map by the attackers commander to mark the location of the high profile location.
2. Upon mission commencement, attackers will have one hour and thirty minutes to build a fully spawnable FOB on the same location the defenders built on top of.
3. The FOB must be build within fifty meters of the placed marker and must be spawnable (even if only for a short amount of time).

Victory Conditions
Defenders win if attackers are unable to construct a spawnable FOB on the location after the hour and thirty minutes have elapsed.
Attackers win if a spawnable FOB built by themselves is constructed on the given location before the hour and thirty minutes have elapsed.

Extraction
Objective: Extract a special operations squad (SOS) from deep within enemy territory.

Execution
1. Defenders will have to remain at operations base for the first five minutes of the round (SOS must be dropped off with admin-enforced "God Mode).
2. Defenders will have a ten minute head start to fortify the map and search for the SOS, during this time the SOS must work to stay hidden from enemy search parties.
3. After the first fiteen minutes of the round the attackers must put forward their efforts to extract at least three members of the five-man team back to the main base.
4. There is no time limit.

Victory Conditions
Defenders win if three or more of the SOS are killed.
Attackers win if three or more of the SOS are rescued and brought back to main base.

Remember, the SOS is an admin role, rarely a public player will be given the opportunity to take the role of an SOS member.

V.I.P Escort
Objective: Escort a high ranking official (usually the Commander) through dangerous territory on a planned route.

Execution
1. The Commander will be assigned and will be immediately begin placing waypoints on the map for the route he/she will be pursuing which will also be known by the opposing team.
2. Attackers must escort the Commander within 50 meters of each waypoint in order and then return him to base safely.
3. Defenders will be unaware of the route path and must plan patrol routes and use intuition to find and assassinate the attackers commander en-route.
4. However waypoints will always be placed along a route-like fashion, and will always pass through the entire map.
5. There is no time limit for this gametype, if the escorting team makes it through the route and back to the base they will be awarded with the "W".

Victory Conditions
Defenders win if the Commander is killed (DEAD, DEAD, not "Wounded").
Attackers win if the Commander is successfully escorted through each waypoint and then back to the base.

Remember, the role of being the commander is an admin role, rarely the role will be given to non-admins. While the waypoints are placed in a route-like fashion, attackers are entirely allowed to approach every waypoint at their discretion (from whatever discretion, and whatever timing they choose).

Scenario Sundays is played strictly on normal AAS maps unless a certain map doesn't have the AAS layer but still would like to be played through the schedule, either way there will be Admin Enforced boundaries in the game, ex- "You may not cap the flag, you must rescue the P.O.W". If a player is to break a rule on the server they will be temporarily banned for three hours resulting in a total ejection of the event.

When the winner and loser have been decided during the match an admin or "referee" will declare the winning and losing teams, then the next map on the schedule that was planned beforehand shown in the event thread will be put up and the next map & gametype will be automatically forwarded.

Before every match there will be pre-game briefing explaining all the rules and details of the current gametype & map such as rules of the gametype and anything else that may be supplemental for the team(s).

So is =DRK= doing this EVERY Sunday? Yes this event is planned to be on every Sunday by routine, very few occasions will there be a delay/cancellation of this event per week.

I want to help be a admin or "referee" of the Scenario Sundays Events, what do I do? Join the =DRK= Steam Group, be active & loyal on the Free Candy Van Teamspeak, and show us indirectly in-game that you are very willing to become an admin/referee and you are understanding of all of the rules, trust us, the offer will come.

I LOVE SCENARIO SUNDAYS, how can I do anything charitable towards this event? Subscribe to Bluedrake42, join the =DRK= Steam Group, and tell your friends about the event!

Is the event going to be passworded? Yes, the password is "sunday".

What server is this going to be on? This event is going to be on the "Free Candy Van [Los Angeles Server], at the event start, the server will be reloaded with SS configuration.

Dang! Will this be on every single sunday?

I remember the POW rescue on RAMIEL a few months ago...

The POW was killed like 4 times, so they had to restart it!! XD.

It was fun tho, I was the Stryker Driver... and we went rambo into the compound and rescued good ol' drake! XD

It's on his channel, cause I watched it lol.

We will likely shift the times around every now and then to accommodate as many people as possible, but it's pretty difficult to please everyone at once.

Current plan is every other Sunday, gives a nice balance between regularity and admins being able to plan and organize.
