Ever wanted to see what its like when you get 2 factions that never fight, pitched against eachother? Do you want to play PR with alot of teamwork, coordination and with proper SLs?
The war of the factions concept is put in place to ensure that each fight is completly different from the next. With a custom map, and any faction being played by either side, anything can happen! The 2 commanders chooses a faction, and then purchases their assets. These are then placed on the map, this allows the commander more detail planning in the intent behind his strategy aswell as using certain assets in more numbers than normal.

This event is set on the Karez Offensive and we are playing the AAS gamemode, without flags.
How does it work?
With a point limit of 1200 per team, each commander will purchase assets. The prices being dependent on the asset type and selected doctrine. After the purchases have been made, the remaining tickets is the number of tickets your faction possess in the game. Each team will have a structured team with SLs, predefined squads and assets, aswell as battleplans.

All rounded factions: will have 1200 tickets to start with (Standard)
Specific factions: will have 1400 +/- tickets to start with (Custom)
Reason for higher ticket start for specific factions: Lacking assets/Balance
Examples of a specific factions: NL, Isreal, France these factions lack certain vehicles like atgm's, cannon APC's or Air.
Examples of all rounded factions: MEC/USA/Russia, these factions are able to field a large range of capable vehicles.
Core Assets and Doctrines:
If doctrines are chosen, the commander will have certain discounts and more or less availability for their vehicles depending on their doctrine. The commander cannot choose core vehicles of other doctrines, with the exception of a few shared core vehicles.
Doctrines include: Armour, Mechanized, Motorized and Air.
What if no doctrine is chosen?
If the commander chooses no doctrine so he/she can field all vehicles of that factions but he/she will get no discounts and can only deploy 4 vehicles maximum of each type. For non doctrinal factions 1 jet or attack heli is allowed, for doctrinal factions there are exceptions on this rule.
