Well, question's in the title. I was justa tiny bit concerned about this, that's all. I use Hamachi to play Battlefield 2 in coop with a group of my friends, and I was wondering if I could create a LAN Project Reality server without having to download server files.
Sorry is this is a dumb question or it's already in FAQ. I'm feeling a bit lost on this website.
Can I start a LAN server without applying as server admin?

Of course, just go Create Local and make a game, it can then be joined by anyone on your LAN.

Just something you ought to know:
There are a bunch of python scripts you can mess around with to tweak your server however you like (kind of like a "server.cfg" file). You can find them in your PR install directory.
