Can not open crates or other kit spawners since update

I wanted to start playing the game again today for the first time since the last update, but now I can't seem to open crates or any other thing that spawns kits. I'm standing next to it, pressing T, but nothing happens at all, and I can't figure out why this suddenly started..

Any ideas?

You need to be in a squad in order to be able to request kits I believe
