so i wanted to learn to do a map, more specifically i want to do a stress test map to test from the handle, speed, mechanics to see if the tank is follow the real life specs.
but i don't wanna start a big job like that with no interest of the devs and it will be actually used as a tool to better give a feed back and some future patch.
yes i know i could use the actual maps to show the problem it self, but in a controlled situation i can remove the map design problem and see if is the tank problem.
if you guys agree i will let a list of the test and let me know what i don't need to do because is hard code or is not necessary.
1: climb rate. to see what degree the tank can climb like a hill
2: rough ground. to cheek if the tank slide in certain degree sideways or get stuck is some small holes
3: speed test, to see if the tank follow the real life speed in case since the game speed count not work im about to do a rule and measure in what time he do i know is hard code to do a speed test for difference in street to offroad so i will not test that
4: fall damage and ran damage, cheek if the tank get to much damage if hit another tank or a object
5
6: water speed/deep water support to check in what case the tank get damage o cant across water
for now i will do that job for the tank but maybe APC will also get this kind of test.
i also get ispiration in tose videos:
