Man, I can't be in SS tomorrow!!! > :(

But, can you guys lay off of Fallujah for a bit? It's getting very old playing it like 2 times a day.
Or at least change the 'crash' map every week to something different? Maybe add a poll on yoru site:

What should next weeks (insert date here-insert date here) be??
A. Khami AAS
B. Ramiel INS STD
C. Muttrah STD
D. Random map admin picks.

Or every month something different crash map?

Hello Matty,

Don't worry, tomorrow won't be SS because it is bi-weekly, so you won't be missing anything :D
As for changing the crash maps we change it every week or so, it went from gaza beach to fallujah west and right now it is ia drang skirmish. We will be changing it again soon.

Thanks for your feedback

I think you guys should review your rule about roadkilling. Yesterday I was playing and there was this guy called "Sinbadcommando" roadkilling every round (and also doing mumble spam). He was taking fast transport cars (ammo techies, humvees, g-wagons and the british transport cars) driving it alone and with the sole purpose of roadkilling for WHOLE rounds. He got 8 confirmed roadkills on Hades Peak on the NL side (I was in a squad with him almost the whole round).

Not even butthurt since we were on same teams almost all rounds, I just think it's PR and not Carmagedon or GTA. A roadkill is totally justified when you find some enemy on the way from point A to B, but I don't think taking a car and driving it alone (wasting transport) making your own rampage and also exploiting an engine flaw is a nice thing. I even told him it was stupid and very non PR-ish, but he just replied "well, it's working, I am getting kills" after he ran over several russians on Hades Peak.

Well, just my feedback.

Death, I completely agree. The other admins and I are currently in the process off revising our server rules. I will bring this up to them!

We don't have a specific rule on our forums that say road killing is allowed. I have had people ask me in game if it is allowed, and I responded with:
- If you are driving from point A to point B and an enemy is shooting at you, go ahead and road kill them. But if you road kill excessively, which means driving around in circles as Sinbadcommando was doing, it is frowned upon.

Nevertheless, we will discuss this further with our admins.

honestly we could probably just call that asset waste if he's soloing vehicles and getting them blown up while trying to road kill

What is the big deal with road killing??? Honestly it IS annoying, but seriously it is a ROAD kill. Like Datx said if you're driving you have to road kill, and even if you're driving in circles killing people, it's not really a huge issue to bring in admins. I might be missing something, idk

edit- read the first road kill post
Now if you dedicate your round to it, maybe it's something to get admins in, but imma leave it like that....

Update on last post.
The server has improved a lot more in the past weeks, admins are better and more responsive, it's great. They're on slightly more now too, from what I've seen.

Just sucks everyone picks same maps 85% + of the time, what ever :P

The update has slightly messed up stability resulting in a lower amount of maps that can be played.

I am in realtime communication with the DEVs and hopefully they can put a find to them, sure as hell isn't easy :P

Thanks fire

still need to educate ur admins on empathy (putting yourself in others shoes right?) because playing insurgency every other map makes 1 team blufor and the other team opfor every time and i would think that... not everyone loves to be opfor as much or as often as me. as i have said before and will say again, i think insurgency should always come in pairs just to be fair

fun server and gj i notice less lag than in recent past.

have a good one.

Hello Anderson,

I am sure that at the time you were on we only had trial admins present, who are not able to conduct map votes. This may be the reason why the game mode pattern was AAS, INS, AAS, INS. Also keep in mind that some of our admins have just gotten their admin rights days ago which is why they are not very experienced. In time, I guarantee you will see more 'empathy' from our admins.

Hope to see you on the server again

Good Evening,

Here, moved to the correct forum. Note that this has already been responded too and I have no need to post anymore on it.

I've been playing online games for awhile now even back to Delta Force 1 and Command & Conquer. Those were the two first online games I played back in the mid to late 90's. Every server I have ever played on has always taken a very extremely dim view of racism and that has been a very basic rule across the board. Due to my encounter this evening with this very issue and at least 3 admins in the same squad as the offender with nothing being done, I guess I have nothing to do but change my ratings of some of the admins.

Again, it goes back to what I said in another post, admins = self-serving police - if you ain't scratching their back they will kick your back-side.

You really never know what an admin will or will not do based on who is online admin or otherwise. There are a basic set of core rules that may top out at 3 or 4 that everyone follows but get too far outside of that, it gets kind of crazy and this goes for any server not just FCV.

Every server needs to make a list on what maps are stable, what arent.

Reason is to prevent crashes, until next update is finished.

Could the crashes be relating to networkables?

That what I think. A lot of us can only theorize not experiment.

Thanks for the great games tonight, nice equal teams with demmanding combat and good commanders.

Would like to see a bit more discipline on local chat with teams are organising at the start, had to rush sorting out kits for the squad a couple of times.

Otherwise a thoroughly fun night.

Great to hear, censoring the chat during the necessary times should be enforced more (totally agree), as far as mumble spamming it's pretty rough at times to moderate without removing the player(s) from the game.

Glad you had a good night, hope to see you again, Rudd! 8)

Thanks for the feedback Rudd. I agree with you on the mumble spam, it's very annoying. We're currently revising our rules and we intend on cracking down on mumble spam pre-round, that way it can be for planning only.
