Windows Vista .iso Corrupt

Post by MrC921 »

Hello all!

I have been having trouble installing PR 1.2 for about a half week or so. I have downloaded the .iso through two different Torrent clients (FinalTorrent and BitTorrent). I have just finished installing it through BitTorrent. But when I try mounting the .iso image file with DaemonTools, all it does is say this when I click on the mounted drive:

"Z:\ is not accessible. The file or directory is corrupt and unreadable."

Like I said, I've been trying to install this .iso file for a while, and I have tried multiple times and methods without success. Desura did not work either. I am running Windows Vista and do not know what is happening. I am really looking forward to playing PR, but I haven't been able to because of these frustrations. :(

Help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Thanks!

Have you installed Battlefield 2 and updated it to the newest version?

Do you have a RAID array with your hard drives? Disk mounting software doesn't cooperate well with them.

I recommend trying a program called Gizmo, it's what I use for disk mounting.

iso corrupt?

the easiest way I found to install was to get winrar link here (32or64bit depending on your OS) and use it to extract the iso in to a folder.

I made a folder (PR2) and put the iso in it. then I right clicked on the iso and "extract here".

then click on "autorun" and let it rip.

hope this helped
