There, just a few precisions.StevePl4y5 wrote:Just a few vehicle names usually used to call them out that new players might not know (mostly air vehicles, since ground vehicles are usually called out by their class):
Havoc - Mil Mi-28, Russian Attack Helicopter (CAS), sometimes also called Hind (for some reason).
It's called hind when it's a mil Mi-24 Hind, Russia has two CAS choppers, Havok and Hind
Cobra - AH-1Z Viper, USMC Attack Helicoter, never called by its actual name "Viper", but rather the name of its predecessor, the AH-1 Cobra.
Huey - UH-1N Twin Rotor/Iroquois, mainly known as the USMC transport helicopter (also used by the Canadian and German faction as a light trans chopper), the nickname comes from the english pronuntiation of the first leters "UH".
Osprey - V-22 Osprey, USMC vertical take off and landing transport plane (the only transport plane in the game), also known by players as "a ***** to fly" or the "it's gonna crash, take cover". It's easily identifiable by its huge size and unconventional shape.
Chinook - CH 47, the British heavy transport helicopter (also used by the French, and the Canadians???), possibly the largest helicopter in the game.
Used by the french as a placeholder for the Puma or Caracal, also used by the US army
Lynx - Westland Lynx, British light transport chopper.
COW - Mil Mi-8, russian heavy transport helicopter, I don't know why they call it Cow, but they do.
called cow because it's big, fat and slow
Batmobile - Chinese armoured car with remote controlled turret, fearsome little thing.
CROW - Humvee mounted with a remote controlled turret.
We can add :
Gary - Insurgent suicide Garbage truck mounted with a JDAM bomb.
Big Red - Insurgent suicide big red truck mounted with a JDAM bomb
Namer - IDF APC with the hull of a merkava
