Importing PR2 Weapons Reflex Sight,

Dear All,

First off, I just join the PR community. I would like to say thank you all developer for this awesome BF2 mod.

I'm very impress with PR HK417, And would like to have it for my personal mod.
I successfully import them through, get them firing, get the animation function properly.

However, I'm a bit stuck in the Reflex sight area. When aiming down sight, ADS, the reflex sight just gone. Blank. (The body of reflex sight still there, giving the impression of running out of battery.)

I would like to know how to import these sight? For HK417 EoTech for example, I test this in AIX.

But the good news is, BOT is using this weapons effectively. :p

I think it loads the reflex HUD overlay if I'm not mistaken.

It's the one used by the AKS and M4 in vBF2.

Dot in reflex sight is made by HUD, as Mineral said. To add dot, you have to change guiindex to one with dot, or add dot to gui ussed by this weapon. So easier way would be to change altGuiInex to one used by weapon with red dot.

Thanks everyone,
Have done what you guys said,
For example - I use AIX HK416 red dot, insert this line into the tweak file,
==> Objectemplate.WeaponHud.altGuiIndex 1053

Which works. Thanks.

However, what about the actual EoTech reticle that require a hud overlay?
I have locate the image as .tga in this following location:
menu_clients\hud\texture\ingame\crosshair\eotechaimpoint.tga

So, what to do next to port this over?

Dear All,
I have done what you guys have suggested. And I finally did it!
Well, nothing much, making this problem a great learning curve for me.
First, I locate the menu_server\hud\hudsetup\weapons\hudelementseotech.con
Move this file to my personal mod menu_server.zip
Done!
So thanks a lot guys.
