I skimmed through the rules of communication. Since it seems like it's all of the same on every server. "Spamming is not allowed", "must have mic", "speak english" ect. But now it is more clear to me. Sorry about that though, just saw "English is the primary language on the server." part. Then I figured the rest was normal, no spam, ect.

But, it seems like LA is more stable then the NY server. Idk if it's just me though.
And thanks for getting rid of some of the 'badmins'. And I love those [TZ] admins, they are probably some of the funnest/best players (and admins) I have played with in PR yet!!

There's good days and then you see bad days. I'm out of ideas, so many theories gone down the drain trying to find a reason of server crashes, I'm left to assume it involves its query functions/connections. Hopefully there is a complete revision to this community, soon, that isn't based off of BF2. But hey, I've got hope for something new in the future, BF2 will always be the nicest, though.

Brenn, im surprised you take my post as personal as you do, to use such sarcasm in your reply. Your assumptions are also false. It was not LA, but NY i was on. I haven't said I wont play there again. And I haven't made any complaints against you.

I have never spoken out against non-english speaking players, nor do I wish to have a whole nation blocked from playing. Only that your admins react and follow your own server rules.

And I do know how hard it is to admin. But with a report, as mentioned all it takes, is either join mentioned sqd for a sec and talk with the player to ascertain the facts of the report, or just talk to him over squad talk, since there was admins playing on the same side.

And brenn, it fine discussing it here, since this is a genuine review of my playing on the server. Communications is vital in PR, and since your own rules, which i very much like in this new version, mentions this. Since I wasn't kicked nor banned, and my post is about communication not only from you admins, but a squad leader as well.

I honestly don't think Bren's aim there was to be sarcastic towards you Jev, I think he was being sincere. We admit fault in what happened. Mistakes were made. The admin/s responsible are being retrained so we can better prevent future occurrences like this. 99% of the time our rules are properly enforced, unfortunately this time an admin was oblivious to reports, and incorrectly dealt with the situation. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, I hope next time you are on you have a better experience. I believe our new rules have had a big impact on the gameplay on our server, and definitely in a positive manner. In the future if you (or anyone else reading this) have any issues, feel free to hop on our Teamspeak and talk with us. The server directors are bandwevil, daxt2, ReapersPr0digy, and myself. I think accusing anyone of sarcasm on a forum is kinda pointless haha... since sarcasm has more to do with the physically audible tone of your voice than anything. He wasn't being sarcastic, we take this stuff seriously.

Jevski, I find it to be extremely arrogant of you to say that FCV is missing communication because of one small incident. If you played for more than 20 minutes before disconnecting, you'd know that. FCV has cooperative team work, good communication, and strict admins(for the most part, those who have not fullfilled their roles have faced the consequences). This is a page for people who play for long periods of time and have a chance to analyze different aspects of how we run the server, so they can provide us with legitimate feedback. Not for people who play for 20 minutes and try to point out as many flaws as they possibly can.

If you are talking about mumble spamming music, it is allowed on FCV until asked to stop.

As for the "chaos" I need to know what you mean. There are times of chaos on every server, HOG, CIA and FCV.

I'd like to ask about the purpose of the teamspeak server. I've never been on a PR teamspeak server, so I don't really know proper etiquette.

I know we can discuss long term issues on there, but what if I'm having big problems during a specific round? How often are admins active on teamspeak and how willing are they to help with smaller issues? I almost never use the report function, as I think it's too impersonal.

Anything more you can tell me about it would be appreciated.

Another round was Ramiel INS where US was pretty much raping our main and I had to kill 2 HMMWVs just 10m out of our main. On both rounds there was global chat spam all the time and masses of people just running around like idiots, nobody building FOBs or hideouts, people just screaming for medic as soon as they got shot, medics reviving people 10s after they were shot etc. etc etc.

A lot has changed since two weeks ago, ever since the update we've been left with no choice but to raise our standards.. But I'm sorry that happened, though.

The purposes of the teamspeak server is for coordination along players with other players, admins and admins, and admins and players. The whole point of it was so when there were situations in-game for admins there wouldn't be spam all over the screen, the admin would acknowledge that and discuss it on teamspeak in order to clear the spam and to also have a more efficient and productive (yet quick for what it is) discussion arguing what the punishment/action will be if it gets to the level expecting that admin to have verbal warning (not !w - that's what I have trained the admins to use as if they were going to tempban, as nobody has the ability to ban since we don't want to degrade the quality of a slowly fading playerbase on PR as that has been our oath since the day we started the server).

The proper etiquette is quite simple, "Hey, what's up..?", or "Hey, can you help real quick?", or even "I need an admin, please move me up so I can tell you what is going on!". Typically the mapvotes are revolved around the discussions players and admins have on teamspeak as this is a network server there are many people that have a larger voice on the things that are decided as opposed to in-game chatter (spam).

Admins are required to be in teamspeak inside of the specified "Admin Room" whenever they are in-game, if not they will be identity banned from FCV due to the policies we've been required to enforce in response to the latest updates.. There's one admin that is allowed to not be on teamspeak; theMilitary, he's our only guy that covers the times he gets on (usually a very niche time during non-peak hours).

And feel free to !r, just keep in mind the problem gets justified quicker in teamspeak, depending on the admin.

Dax, Lack of communication can be many things. It can be between sqds, but it can also be from admins.

Ive played a couple of times on FCV with the old rules, and to me it just felt like an advanced version of COD. As brenn has stated earlier, FCV has been a "casual" server. Thats fine, if you like that kind of PR teamwork. Now you have stepped up, and your trying to aspire to a higher level of maturity and teamwork. Hence my trying to play on it again.

Your new rules clearly state that it is required to communicate on mumble. When I reported a SL who neither spoke english, nor used mumble i got no response from the 5 admins who where online. Chaoz as far as i remember was on the same side as I.

Brenn states that it was because the use of XJ as reporting was not enough since it was a clan tag, but he was the only player with that tag so it should not have been an issue. But even if it was, It does not take 3 sec. to look at the scoreboard to find out to whom I was talking about. And if that also failed 1 of the 5 admins could have asked me for a proper name. That didnt happen either. And that i would call a lack of communication.

It wasnt just one !r it was many, also several attempts at all chat to get an admins attention.

As to spamming between round yes it happens on FCV as it does on HOG. The difference I experienced was that no admin took action.
