More often than not the server admin has the settings wrong.

Someone with more knowledge will be along to give you some help.

Interested in replays. Is it more viable to just fraps/xsplit my games then use the downloader ?

But fraps will only record from your player view(what you see), i thought the built in replay that you download from the game server will be from any player view ? would be great if that is how it is.

It's not first person but just a free camera that can lock onto players if you want. I find it really interesting seeing what goes on and also seeing just how many close encounters you have. I've literally seen opposing players walk right past each other without noticing. You'd be surprised how often it happens.

It would be helpful if you could tell us which server you played on.

Good. Took me a while to learn how to use playbacks, so here's most of it:

W A S & D are how you move your camera position and the Mouse is how you pitch the camera angle.

Space Bar will select a different player to focus on and right click will unlock off of them.

CTRL will lower the camera until you reach the ground and Z will raise it.

If you want to move your camera more slowly in order to get that one good shot simply hold the SHIFT key and you camera will slow down substantially.

1-0 will control the speed of the action on the game.
Also, double tap your forward key (W) to fly around the map at supersonic speed.
