Thanks, I knew you could do that with the parameters somehow. Just did not know the right command.

Here's another overlay you can add to the OP if you want to.

I took a screenshot with printscreen but it didn't capture the overlay for some reason, anyway, the colors and font are BF2 like and it's on the lower left corner.

I'll add a screenshot with some other program.

NOTE: You will need a specific font to use it correctly so I added the font in the archive.

EDIT: Uploaded screenshots.

My mumble won't connect right now seems a big coincidence with the beta release!

recently mumble just simply can not connect to the server, it just stays like completely disconnected trying to connect over and over. This happens on the new 1.0 mumble, and the older one. It tries to connect constantly, and sometimes is succesful but I frequently disconnect.

Also, the newest mumble tends to just random crash when attempting to speak.

any idea what is causing this?

Mumble doesn't open when I open the 1.0 beta. When I open Mumble separately through finding it in the folders the two square boxes are empty. I tried this when others had mumble up and running in game. Both were opened as admin.

I could never get mumble working and therefore hated it, I always preferred TS3 which is IMO much more straight forward.

Though for me to be able to play I could use your help folks.

I downloaded mumble 1.24 and run it as admin - I manually type in address and ports and add as new

But when I click connect there are no servers at all and connection usually times out ?

I checked these threads but in these all is assumed I establish the connection in the first place, which I seem unable to

You did the first step wrong :p You installed the wrong mumble :D

PR uses it's own modified version of mumble.
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f196-p ... 1-0-a.html

or use this direct link:
http://realitymodfiles.com/dbzao/PR_Mum ... Beta_4.msi

Download it from there. Then you don't need to worry about connecting, it will do that automatically for you. All you need to do is change your input/output settings and your shortkeys if you want to. And maybe select an overlay.

And don't forget to run it as admin!

Good luck and have fun.

My PR mumble is acting kinda weird.. when I play it keeps lowering the voip so every once in a while i have to open up the PR mumble settings -> output and manually increase the sound to 100%.. anyone know what's causing this?

This alt-tabbing is making me go crazy :@

The problem might have started when i edited in the options yes, so it could've been associated with it.
But then again, I went into the options and removed it afterwards. (I made a bind on lowering / raising the volume)

I'm going to do a reinstall of prmumble this weekend hopefully the problems will go away! :)

edit: Jeez.. I removed the keybinds earlier, but now when I look they were still there.
Well, I guess problem solved LOL. :o ops:

Sorry for necroing this, but how come my PRMumble doesn't even have an overlay option all of a sudden? Is there some technosorcery I have to cast to get it back?

The PRMumble in this thread was PRMumble 1.0,0.4 Beta, and has since been replaced with a built-in solution that autoruns when you start PR through the Play button on the PRLauncher screen.

Everything in this thread is outdated in regards to PRMumble.

Figured as much, but does that then confirm my suspicion that the overlay has been removed in its entirety?

The overlay is now on the bottom left in green letters, it's a uniform overlay for all players. There is also a Speaker icon in the bottom right that tells you your own mic condition. (ON/OFF/Disconnected)

Hmm... The symbol is the red chain link (disconnected I suppose) but I can hear people and they can hear me. But no overlay.

Very strange.
