Game crashing on Startup in main menu

Hey,

So recently, after the latest updates (since 1.2) I have been trying to play, but whenever I launch my game, two inconveniences occur.

1) My game goes in black windowed mode for about 3 minutes. This was usual on previous versions but for only a few seconds. I'm the only one in my group of friends getting the problem, and it's annoying that it takes 3 minutes just to start the game (let alone find a populated server to get into, you know PR).

2) My main problem, is that the intro will go, I'll be in the main menu but it's black, and you can only see the loading dogtag (it's movable) and can hear the music. Then, after about 15 seconds, there's a Windows error sound, the game crashes with any error box and the game just shuts itself down.

I used to play PR religiously until the update 1.1 I believe, which was quite a while ago during a period none of my friends played PR. When I did try though, it was this problem, and never sought help for it. Now I tried to play with my friends today, and I re-installed and it happened again. I would really appreciate any assistance on this problem as I have no idea how to fix it myself.

Oh and one more thing, I haven't edited anything, and am running off Origin, not Steam like everybody else appears to be.

Let's also reset your profile, as that might be the problem, and it's easy to test.
Let's have you run in windowed mode so we can see the Windows Error message popup window.


PRLAuncher->Options->Bottom Left "reset all Profiles" button.
PRLAuncher->Options->Video Tab->UNTICK the Fullscreen tickbox.->Set the resolution to something smaller than your monitor resolution.

Start PR and wait for the error sound , and if you see the error popup window, screencapture it, or write it down, then post it in this thread.
