i do think they need to update the kits at least removing the m16 because its not in use anymore and put the ctar as STD and mtar as ALT and adding the Negev a mars sight

and the link isn't working for me.

100 is ok, but we need to go back to 200 for events set my a central organisation in the PR community. This would be great.

So, the CTAR is still used more than the MTAR within the IDF, then? Besides, I remember seeing some M16s in the hands of IDF in some footage. Like right here in this trailer, for instance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeloTZdv0K8#t=44s

no , the CTAR is starting to be use less
and thats a video,movie in combat we dont use m16 only guys from the paratroopers



at first you can see the paratroopers with the m16 and later on the Mtar

I just wanted to say that I agree with the OP, I think 100 is too much on some maps, its really hard to tell which. But about 80 is perfect imo. I'm not coming at this from a pc hardware perspective but purely gameplay, gameplay is just better.

I would love 200, I actually think 100 is not enough on some maps

Totally agree! If the 9-squad-limit could be broken, I would totally support 200 player servers, however a restraint would be required that 200 player servers could only set the next map to 4km maps if >100 players were playing on the server, since 1 or 2km maps would be somewhat unbearable with 200 players, not to mention the performance hit.

I'm pretty certain that people have suggested adding AI before, with devs saying that it's pretty much impossible to do with the limits they have. Hell, it'd be a decently difficult coding task with full source code access.
Not sure what you mean about squad sizes, but I don't see how that would really change gameplay for the better.

200p skirmish.


But I do agree with the 200p stuff.


For example....

100p is perfect on 2km maps like Marlin and such.

100p is not that perfect on huge 4km maps like Shijia and such.

But, that means more assets.... Probably have a total of 40 trans vehicles on the map.

If anything on 4km maps the DEV's should make the limit 128, then again we all learned how that was during the v1.0b.

We tried a great variation of different caps before the release and the open beta but decided to stick with 100p for stability and gameplay.
We developed 1.0 with 100p in mind and the open beta showed us that we were on the right track.
So the open beta also features a maximum of 100p and there were more than 3 servers...

Hey...I might be off topic, but didn't we get access to the source code of the game when GameSpy shut down?
Maybe now we can have squads and vehicles that support more than 8 people. :D
