A bomb car/dumptruck is ok, but no suit of TNT to strap onto yourself?
Is this a engine limitation or is there a specific reason we don't have one?
Why isn't there a infantry suicide bomber kit for taliban type forces?

Afaik it is not "appropriate" or it is "morally questionable" according to some devs.epicelite wrote:A bomb car/dumptruck is ok, but no suit of TNT to strap onto yourself?

Yes, lets totally leave out the points I made.....Jacksonez__ wrote:Afaik it is not "appropriate" or it is "morally questionable" according to some devs.

The other way you have to look at it is how will it affect teamwork? Sure you could say it will be used as the start of an ambush, but will it? Will this actually happen most of the time, or will this turn into another sniper kit?
Its an anti personal weapon, so really what benifit does it have over a normal IED other than it being mobile? Other that being able to hide places a VBIED can't, there is really no benefit.
With all of these "ifs" we would have to find someone to make it, and pull them off much more pressing tasks, which could end up being a complete waste of time are resources for something that might be useful, but will in term just be used to troll and exploit the game.
I feel like the reasons above are a pretty damn good reason why not to add it.

Gameplay wise it wouldn't work anyway.
Presumably it would be a kit spawning at main (wouldn't be spawned at a cache cuz that would be trollworthy), at which point how to get to the battle?...a car.
why not just have...a bombcar; a faster, more effective, more convenient bomb delivery system for ingame.
Without a deadman switch, this kit would be pretty inflexible anyway, and I Don't think we can have that ingame in a controlled manner at leasts.
no point expending dev resources on this kit, it just wouldn't work well; much better for the insurgents to have either a bombcar or another pair of boots on the ground.

in real life all those many civis are hiding in their homes hoping not to catch a stray bullet.ComradeHX wrote:In real life you have a LOT more civies.
in game these so called civs are standing in plain site with no one even close around them...which is unrealistic to me....using them as cover like a hostage or shield type of situation is much more believable in regards to the real world....which is why i dont like the proximity rule that civs have on them currently.

In real life civis don't throw themselves in your line of fire.
Maybe depressive ones, but that's just the minority.
