CD key Hash duplicate

I was having problems with the cd key it was not being detected it appears that a lot of people are using the same cd key as i am what can i do to solve this problem ? I have an original copy of the game i could even show you the cd case and serial number of the case if you don't belive me .. im very dissapointed that i can't play PR because of this

Same here. Changing CD-key through regedit doesn't work. In fact, nor does sweeping through registry and deleting every relevant mention of "reality", "battlefield", "ea games", etc, and completely removing bf2/pr.

I can try to make a fix for you guys, this little trick was working back in 1.2 i hope it still works, there you go.

first of all keep in mind that your key is in use that means you need a new hash key basicly a new CD key, so you need to buy a NEW CD KEY or get one from somewhere, now one of the 1.3 updates on PR was that the CD key hash is machine locked, i think that means you have to format your system and reinstall Windows all over again to reinstall the game and put the new CD key, BUT i've seen some trick that was working on 1.2 and here it is : get to your Date and Time menu and change the day to few days in the future, it dosnt really matter even 1 day is enough, change your CD key using some CD key changer its not that complex and you can download CD key changer just search for it.. put in your new original key ( the new one which is not in use ) save and start up PR your HASH key should change if not then I think the only solution to this is to reinstall windows and everything....

Reinstalling windows doesn't help. It's HARDWARE locked, not software.

And changing time neither.

Anyway, this isn't a issue for v1.3 anymore. Closing.
