can't hear my cousin through Mumble!

Hey there, recently my cousin wanted to play some Project Reality with me, but he can't talk to me over Mumble.
He said, that in the options menu, the mic works and records his voice, but i can't hear him In-game!
Sometimes i can hear a kind of a "knack" sound (but that could also be, because of the "radio-effect" i guess...)!
We tried nearly everything, but haven't found a solution yet, i just hope that you guys can help us, we really want to play PR again, you know?

Mumble isn't in game options it isn't anything to do with in game voip. Check mumble input device is correct. You'll find it in hidden icons when game is running or it can be launched from the launcher to test or change things.

yeah, my cousin tried to change the input device via "Audo-Assistent" but it didn't help (Mumble showed him, that his mic is working), but it didn't work when he joined a server..

Is your cousin using a 3.5mm plug mic , or a USB mic, or a wireless USB mic?
Does he have multiple mics connected to the PC?

Hey, the problem just solved itself... thank you for the help, though!
he set the input device back to default and then the mic worked fine, i really don't know why..
