PR install help

Post by Code11b »

Well like many of you i would guess, i got excited about playing PR. I already have the bf2 game and it is updated to 1.5. I used utorrent to download the 6. something gb file that is pr from the project reality site. It took four flippin hours but it finally downloaded in full as far as i'm aware of. So then i was told to get daemon tools but it failed to properly download on my computer(windows 7, intel core I7-920 2.67ghz). I have no idea why. So then i downloaded power iso and mounted it and at last i seem to have been getting somewhere as before it wanted me to burn the pr file to a disk which i don't have. I tryied the autorun exe but it said it could not find the setup exe. I clicked the setup exe and it was working extracting necessary files or installing or whatever it was doing and then...it needed a disc 2? Like what?? The whole point in me using poweriso is so i don't have to use a disc.

and i believe at one point or another it said it couldn't find setup bin 2 or something along those lines but yet the setup 2 bin words are mounted so i clicked that and then it said something along the lines of it not having a program assciated with it.

What a nightmare to install a mod man.

Any help appreciated. On top of this i cannot run my bf2 game anymore so even if i don't figure out how to run pr i have effectively deactivated bf2 collection somehow.

Hiya welcome to PR,

Try uninstalling PowerISO(some pirate versions contain trojans), uninstalling DaemonTools (it's now spyware).

In uTorrent, verify the PR download since you tried to mount it once , to make sure it's still 100% downloaded.

Download Slysoft VirtualClone Drive from here: SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive
Install it.
It's similar to PowerISO , but it works 100% of the time.

Mount the PR .iso to a drive, open the drive, click the Setup.exe
