Go to your launcher, click 'Support' and post your Support Info here. That usually tells us more about what might help.

Re: (help) low FPS
I had a Phenom II x4 955 @ 3,2Ghz before and got roughly the same framerate, the BF2 engine isn't really cut out to deal with everything that's going on in PR and because it doesn't support quad core processors framerate suffers.

Re: (help) low FPS
Are you in the D.R.? I'm asking because a gentle overclocking of your hardware is a definite option, with the warning you have to keep your temperature down if you have a stock CPU cooler.
if you increase voltage to ~1.54V you can get to 3.8Ghz, and your idle temps will be around 45C, (But probably higher if you're in the D.R.)
As your PC is now really 5 years old, I'd suggest overclocking the system to extend the lifespan of the system is the route to take.
With a stock CPU cooler, you should be able to stay at stock voltage and get to 3.3Ghz, and have the same temps during all times but when gaming.Current Culture: Spanish (Dominican Republic)
