origin question

does project reality use origin to start?
Also do you really need battlefield 2 to get project reality?
How can my friend get project reality?

Its not using origin. He must get Battlefield 2 patched to 1.5 version, and then download PR modification. Check out Downloads section for files.

It doesn't matter if you got BF2 from Steam, Origin or retail.

I myself have bought it in Steam and don't have to run Steam while playing PR.

But you/your friends should buy a legit copy (check your local store, it goes out for about 5€ where I live) because nearly all pirated keys out there in the internet are PERMABANNED on all servers.

Then can i share my battlefield 2 to my friend on origin?
Because my friend won't buy bf2 for $20 on steam when it doesn't even have multiplayer now

I'd recommend getting a new disc copy first off of Amazon. Then Steam as a last resort.
But don't share. That just causes issues down the road, and it's just too cheap to bother sharing anyways.

BF2 no longer has online servers, thus the authenticator no longer works.

You can definitely run Project Reality on a Pirated/Shared Battlefield 2 Copy, and I do believe that PR uses it's own Account system so he can probably play it as long as he has Battlefield 2 patched to it's latest version and project reality installed

If the key he used while installing is not permabanned. If it is, well you will have to reinstall system to try another key. Worth a shot? Umm nope.

Hey guys i got some question before i tell my friend to get pirated version of bf2
1.What happens if you get caught by you ISP do you get fined or jailed?
2.If so then what can my friend to do to minimize the risk of getting caught by ISP
3.IF he got PR will he get kicked out of severs because using illegal copy of BF2 i worried about this because i heard all these rumors about what happens when you use illegal copy of BF2?
My alternative if my friend won't do the illegal downloading
1.Ask my other friend that got the legit copy of BF2 with cd let my other friend borrow it will it work because and i try to open BF2 after all the install i tried to open BF2 with cd out BF2 won't open. Will that have any effect on PR when my friend get it because my friend will need to give it back to my other friend. Or does PR only need the base of BF2?
2.Any other way to get BF2 without buy if my friend doesn't like all the alternatives.

I'm pretty certain that this is the wrong forum to ask these kind of questions.
