Trying to instal PR-V-1.2 iso file.....

I've trying to reinstall 1.2 and having problems getting it to install.

I've tried installing with-win-rar with no luck-trying to unpack it.

It says self installer but it will not install.
Error message says"This file does not have a program associated with it
for performing this action.Please install a program or,if one is already installed,
create an association in the Default Programs control panel.

I just wish it was simple with all do respect-trying to unpack with with win-rar just
difficult.

You need to use program called Daemon tools. Download it, install then make an virtual disc. After making virtual disc you need to mount this ISO image, go to my computer there shoudl be disc called project reality 1.2 or something like this, open it and install. This shoudl work (worked for me )

I'm half Polish I can't even speak or type.

Well I'll try the Daemon tools hopefully it will work for me.
Win-rar has worked for me but not this time-but Thank you

It might be non of my business, but why would you install PR:Vietnam?

I mean, the latest versions of PR:V is included in the PR installer

The V stands for version, I think. It's just hyphenated slightly strange.

PR Vietnam is essential if you would like to play on a conventional non-password required server in Project Reality as PR:V (Vietnam) is a official mini-mod of Project Reality.

And it is not a lot of data so unless you are running your game off a floppy I don't see your reasoning.

Yes I meant PR Vers-1.2 ....

I tried using Daemon-tools lite, Win-zip,Win-rar,7-zip with
no way unpacking it and installing it.

It just stays at iso-torrent file.

I don't why I'm having a hard time?

Daemon-tools lite it says to try to mount into CD-rom drive but
it will not do that.

I've also tried installing the Vers-1.0.29 the one version before
1.2 and get this error message.

Visual C++ 2012 Update 1 x64

This can be installed from the Microsoft Download Center:

I tried doing it this way to try to update to vers-1.2 thru the game updater
and even when I installed that Visual C++ 2012 Update 1 x64 still wouldn't
work.
But my BF-2 reg still works......

Why can't the installation just be simple like all others? Why do we have to go through such a procedure that makes going to a bank seem a lot easier? btw I am using Windows 7 Home premium, i5 4690
