Need Some Help with the Download!

Hello everybody, I'm sort fo having some issues downloading the mod.
I notice it's a .torrent and as such I'm unaware as to what's a good safe opener or way to open the file?

Or if possible, to know if there is a .ZIP or .RAR version of the download. Do hope for a quick response and if this is troubling for folks, I apologize as I've been planing on playing PR for awhile, and hadn't looked into the file version before now.

d/l the torrent then go to http://www.bittorrent.com/ and it shouldn't take long to d/l the iso. took me about an hour.


once you d/l the iso try this out..

the easiest way I found to install was to get winrar link here (32or64bit depending on your OS) and use it to extract the iso in to a folder.

I made a folder (PR2) and put the iso in it. then I right clicked on the iso and "extract here".



then click on "autorun" and let it rip.

Sadly it didn't work. So I guess I have to use Desura which will take upwards of 3 hours. X_X

But thanks for the help none the less mate! I'll try dealing with Desura(I'd hit up that site but I can't, block because my parents having a program on this thing)

never used that site. once you do get the iso I recommend the method I posted above, unless you don't have access to winrar?

Well, I've read about Desura, and I've tried it before, but it's always sucked because I'm on a 58 MBPS network. But it's running good now.

But this thing does all the work, plants the installer and all that stuff. Makes lazy people lazier.

Alright! Sorry to say this and ask for some more help guys! But I need to know where I can get the
Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 1
from. It's saying it's a key dependency and I don't have it.

That is update 4, which is a cumulative update for 1 through 4.

Alright, sorry for the slow response. I'd tried that a few times but it came up in correct.
I've started a varification on it, and I'm now think I might have forgoten to download and install BF2 1.41 and 1.5. IF this varification doesn't work, and than installing the update doesn't work, I'm try install BF2's patches. SOmething I should've done before hand.

Hey everyone! After about two months, I'm back and sad as hell. No luck what soever no matter how hard I try. I've attempted to use BitTorrent to get the .ISO, but was block with access denied errors for trying to write to hardisk, I've tried Desura a couple more times, try to use ModDBs boggus .ZIP file(Just the torrent in a ZIP folder) and have had no luck. So I must ask, if their is anyway to get a direct download(don't care how long it takes at this point) of PR so that I can't get it to mount using Daemon Tools or PowerISO. PLEASE HELP ME AS I AM LOSER!

Try creating a new directory like c:\torrents to save it in.
You tried to save it in your USERS folder where there is read write protections are preventing access.

I attempted to put in my downloads. But it was blocked. And wasn't through my user(To my knowledge, which is smaller than most) folders.

The Downloads is a subdirecotry of users

it's c:\users\[username]\Downloads
which is a protected directory.

Just trust me a little bit, we'll get you up and running ASAP.

Good news! I managed to get it to work on Desura just as I was reading this! Only problem now are the load times!!!
But none the less, thank you SO MUCH for trying to help.
