Seeking PR:Milsim

Hi,


I am looking for a clan that upholds a good set of morals and values, is understanding of members that may not be able to game for ten hours straight due to real life limitations. I also want a clan that incorporates real world tactics, military roles, and ranking into their gameplay. I'm looking for milsim and the more hardcore the better. I was in a leadership position in the allied precise gunmen(a relatively new group to PR) but due to creative differences i have split from them. I'm looking for a new home and i do not require a leadership position. I just want a clan that actually knows what they are doing and can provide the right "milsim" atmosphere for me to enjoy gaming in. You can P.M. me with the offers or post in here. Note:i can spend an avarage of four hours a day ingame. Sometimes less sometimes more.

Just saying, cause Milsim rarely works for PR.

But seriously, I am not trying to disparage you from joining milsim, go for it if that makes you happy. Just don't expect to win games using those tactics in this game .

Dont think you have anyone milsim units left, 31st MEU and 4th SFG was the last two and both are now strictly Arma 3, i think the closest you'll get to "milsim" is the 508th PIR and Tiger Platoon...

Though, both these are mainly Arma units now as well.

Well then. I'll play this game casually and go to another game for milsim if that is what i have to do. I mean on that occasional moment in time i happen to join a squad that knows what they're doing it's a blast but that moment comes rarely in my experiance. I was told there wasn't much milsim here and that is pretty sad if that is the case. I was lead to believe this game was like arma but free(in the sense of map size and the tactics one could imploy in theory) and now i come to find out it's not so. Oh well. Best of luck to you all.

Well tell you what, if you want you can add me on steam: haakon_w , Me and some friends of mine still play PR from time to time, all of which, including myself was/are in milsim units atm, including the 4th SFG, 31stMEU and the 508th PIR.

We are not going 100% milsim while we play tho so don't expect any "yes sir's" and shit but who knows, maybe in the future/later this year, someone might come around and make another milsim unit, that hopefully knows that this is a game.

The "this is a game" reasoning why one shouldn't go the extra mile to simulate a military atmosphere doesn't really resonate with me. I don't find the role play of milsim to be extreme or a chore to do. I find it "fun". It's what i enjoy doing and if i have to move games to find that so be it. I'll still play PR...it just won't be something i take seriously and thus the stress of having things work properly will no longer be there. If i don't go into a match expecting thing's to be just so then i won't be dissappointed. I can relax and go about my match indifferently.

No disrespect to the developers here. I think they made an excellent game and it's not they're fault for how the community interacts with it. The tools are there but if they are not used then...what can ya do?

I appreciate the offer maverick but i'll just find my own path. I've settled for thing's that i knew my heart wasn't into before and it alway's leaves me wanting the true milsim i'm after. Goodluck and no disrespect meant. Cya on the battlefield maybe.

In all honesty mods can close this thread, i no longer need this thread open. I'm getting the same thing one after another and that is to say there is no milsim here. Message coming in crystal clear.
