Experience tonight was terrible. There was teamwounding left and right. Teamkilling too, reported to admins but nothing was done. I was at one point teamkilled in a chopper by a tank. Is the difference between the French and Chinese chopper not that obvious?

Requested admins for several other miscellaneous items several times and never received a response or even acknowledgement of the issue.

To be honest, I'm probably going to suck it up and handle the ping difference and play on [NEW]. PRT pubbing requires more skilled players than what are present on this server.

I will look into this and correct the problem. Thank you for your feedback! I sincerely hope you give us another shot soon. We're in the middle of merging with PRTA so we're in a state of disarray right now. However, that is still no excuse for admins ignoring reports.

From what ive seen, the majority of the 'new' PR players enjoy Free Candy van while a lot of the older vets prefer that of HOG.

Mainly, that though HOG admins are strict, they do actually enforce the law. I rarely see any admin intervention of Free Candy Van and it seems populated with multidues of squads and persons who seemily do not speak English (or choose not to) and do not work in co-ordination with others.

However beggers cannot be choosers, and FCV is better then no server at all.

Remember that the server is located in LA. Obviously, there will be a language barrier. Even though the rules state that English is the preferred language, we generally allow non English speaking squads coordinated by a bilingual leader, if possible.

I've checked the logs in regards to your insight of lack of admin intervention. I have banned the offender for 3 weeks. I hope you don't run into an issue like that again.

Also, please be mindful that we are currently working out new standard procedures for admins to rely on since the move. Admins might take more time to question the offender rather than slap the ban/kick hammer, as we like to take measures that are just.

And to add-on, Tyso, it comes as recommended to hit us up on teamspeak because yellow text fills up our consoles or too quick to find. When you have administrators who are bilingual but don't have the most amazing English it's a given they won't be able to read as fast. It's already hard enough finding a bilingual one.

I, myself ignore the chat but I broadcast the log file to my computer and set my chrome to auto refresh every half second.. but not a lot of people know how to set that up.

And not to sound mean, you're better off seeding NEW, MERK, PRTA, or your old clans server if you don't like FCV. I'm not going to act like you're just here to put disregards in your experiences on here. I'm pretty sure there's a part two.

Nevermind. Server tempbans people instead of kicking them for 1 minute for server stability reasons. I'll try to join again

There is no part two and it is extremely rude of you to suggest so.

He appeared to be suggesting I had an ulterior motive for providing negative feedback. (An ulterior motive possibly being such that I am a member of [NEW] or have friends there, whereas that is not actually at all the case. I have simply heard very good things about their community and can get over any language barrier.)

Regardless, I do not wish to spend any more forum posts in this thread discussing such off-topic matters.

I am disappointed in PRTA FCV. Why? Because I was just warned by an admin not to use the Chinook as an offensive weapon. My pilot and myself had yet to lose a single chopper and we had been supporting the teams objectives by attacking enemy mortars and enemy technicals. We had two blue on blue accidents but never TKed anybody. One of the times was because a techie was engaged and friendlies were near it.

What is more irritating is that the admin would rather have the Chinook sit idle in the base rather than doing something. Between gun runs we supplied ammo crates to those who asked. Further why has this become unacceptable? There was a time not so long ago that this was a common tactic.

Also why all the a**holeishness when we were not braking any server rules? We were using the gun to its fullest ability, unlike techies which use their guns less and roadkill more.

For reference this happened on 9-27-2014@12:15 on Kokan

I guess it's a case of a terrible admin than anything because even FCV have them. You could type in !admins and when something like this happens, report it to their site. They will give punishment to the admin when they find evidence etc.

Hey Tank, this was actually brought to our attention right as it happened. We have been discussing the admin's punishment (as you clearly did not break any rules). We have also had issues with him in the past so he will likely get demoted or have his admin rights completely revoked. I'm sorry that you had to deal with him, and I hope you give us another shot soon.

didnt have such a good time this afternoon on shikotan island today(Saturday 9/27/2014) around 8pm cst. +/- an hour.

reason being as the server was full and all the infantry sqds were full, all the asset sqds locked and there is this 1 sqd with 2 dudes (officer&sniper) unlocked named "fobs"

so i think "oh ill help them build and shit".
i join, instant kick.
i join back. "dude there are no other sqds to join quit kicking us"
they reply with "join trans sqd" then get kicked again. i !r them along with several others aswell and an admin says "they aren't breaking any rules!"
well bull shit dude

1.3 - Squadleaders of infantry squads must lead his/her squad at all times, failure to properly lead may result in resignation by an administrator.
1.4 - Squads that do not contribute as a squad towards their team often a large chunk of people who are solo with random kits making the squad a "Free Kit" squad is forbidden.

i think this admin needs retraining! i hope no one new to pr experienced this kind of b.s. tonite....big turn off.

my solution would of been to resign them...i would lead the sqd of pubs as usual, 2L2Q could join trans sqd and have all the fucking crates they could ever want where they want. win/win.

eventually trans sqd maxed out at 8 and then they had to take on some other random players but maybe in the future 2L2Q_somethingsomethingpanda could maybe learn to lead a sqd of pubs like i constantly do every time i play...its not that hard.

rant complete.
overall i am really happy and mostly always am with your guys server....not to sure about the whole prta deal though....just being blunt and honest as usual

Panda is not an admin.

As for your problems, sorry to hear that. We are currently working on updating our rules and those teamwork rules are going to change a bit, too. We will take your experience into consideration as we rewrite them.
