Freeze than disconnect
I bought and downloaded BF 2 today and got PR aswell
I join a server then after about a minute I freeze, I can talk in mumble for some reason, then after 30 secs I get disconnected with message "You have you connection with the server" or similar.
Please help otherwise its $20 down the drain.
I have tried the whole PB B service thing already

I've completely disabled my firewall already, I've also noticed its usually right after I've used mumble a few times

Re: Freeze than disconnect
When you say not using mumble... you mean not speaking on it? There's no way of disabling mumble from running while PR is running, so the only thing I can think of is if you're not talking on it? Is that right?harry26548 wrote:everything on the page, ive noticed that not using mumble has helped I havent crashed yet

Re: Freeze than disconnect
Any chance you can DMZ your PC or bypass your router entirely to get straight to the modem (if it isn't a combo modem/router)? It really sounds like an overzealous protection mechanism getting a false hit on the voip traffic if what you're saying about the mumble upstream is correct

Re: Freeze than disconnect
Ok well please bypass the router completely and DMZ your computer on the modem.... which should (in theory) take out all hardware based firewalls that could impact your game's connection (you may have to restart your modem following the settings changes)harry26548 wrote:just happened, I didnt use mumble at all and I'm not using a combo
