Hello PRT Community!

The second Preparation Battle (Beirut) has been played and we would like to thank and congratulate both teams for staying focused in such a long battle (over 3hours!). We have seen, again, great sportsmanship and teamwork from both sides!

The in-game end score was PAC 130 - 0 EMF. Congratulations PAC!
Together with the first battle (PAC 50 - 0 EMF) this counts up to a victory in the prep battles by PAC with 180 points. This means that PAC get's the first move on the board. See below for information on what map PAC decided to play first. Find out more about the mapboard and how it works here.

Prep 2 Rule-Breaches

General
Unfortunately, we have seen both, teamkilling before the live round and global chat in the live round. We hope this will not happen again in the future, especially not in the first actual campaign battle. Infractions will follow once we enter the battle cycles. If you feel the urge to type 'good luck' or 'gg' in all-chat, unbind the key. If you feel the urge to run around pre-battle and teamkill, don't join the server until 15 minutes prior. Discipline yourself.

Share your stories from the front and your ggwp's here instead!

Rule breaches and warnings:
Administration has not received any reports of rule breaches from the Supreme Commanders or Commanders. Therefore, no punitive actions will be taken. We appreciate the fairplay and sportsmanship we have seen in the campaign so far! Keep it up.

Complaints & reports
All battle related complaints and reports need to go through chain of command, meaning you should report to the SCO who will file the support ticket. If you wish to make a report that is a private matter or regarding a breach from your own team you can do so yourself, but all others need to come from the (S)CO of each team.

Clan Restrictions Update #2

It's important to note that the preparation time also served as time for the Admin team to get used to the inner workings of this tournament. This allows us to fine-tune all aspects of the tournament including the rules. We once more made a small change to the clan-restriction rule:
  • Maximum in-game number of players from the same clan in the same squad will be increased from 40% to 50% for squads with 7(old rule stated 6) or less players in-game.
This allows 7 man squads now to have 3 clan members instead of 2 with the old rule. We will continue to monitor the squads together with the SCO's to avoid all forms of favoritism. We expect all squad-leaders to rotate active players regularly and include reserves actively in team and squad trainings as well as in battles.

As requested by the PRT community, we have implemented support for GIFvand Gfycat. You have probably seen them around the web. These are high quality GIF's that can turn small video's with large file sizes into fast-loading HD gif's.
[ View Video ] Gfycat Video - Click to Play
This will allow you to make short high quality gif's of battle moments and share them here on the forums. To find out how to use them, and to see how other BB-CODE elements are loaded in look here.

Please note that the DST (daylight saving time) in Europe have changed on the last Sunday of October. the Project Reality-Time(PRT) clock (used for battles and other team events) does not use DST. It's important that you take this change into effect for your plannings. Battles will remain at 19:00PRT. Find out more about PRT here.

For Central-EU-based players, "19 PRT" does no longer mean 21:00 (+2), but only 1 hour difference, therefore 20:00 (or respective 21:00 in Eastern European Time Zones (+2 instead of +3). We advise you to change your training times a bit if you have American-based Squad members. The time will be the same for you, but our American members can join easier for the time being.
