Can't install PR on BF2, Please help.

And...um i tried install the battlefield 2 for frig sakes and um got that. Worked deeeecent. Decided i wanted PR because im into this typa stuff. And uhhh got it. Needed to get 1.41 patch, done that so i got 1.50 patch and uhh frig sakes, the setup.exe wont run! the 1.50 patch setup.exe just wont run at all. Been trying to figure this out for a week. My Battlefield 2 runs great, no lag, doesn't crash.

It has really been bugging me. I will start it and it asks me if i will allow it to make changes, blah blah blah and it wont do anything after that.

I ran in safemode, ive used the cmd to run it, i ran as administrator, i restarted PC, i turn off anti virus, i did compatibility mode, i right clicked and opened it... Frig...idk

I really don't know what to do, to get this to work! all i wanted to do is simply play PR! but i guess it's a little harder than i thought it was.

I have a fair amount of knowledge with the computers, I can JavaScript and C#. But believe it or not, im no computer whiz when it comes to this. Idk if its some of the reg files that are fu**** but irdk.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

more likely than not the website source of the 1.5 patch has a corrupted 1.5 patch file on their servers.

find a different source of a 1.5 patch.

The patches are large and on standard HDD they take a long time to start... click it, allow the security features then just wait, browse the web or something, the install dialogue will/should pop up eventually.
