I just wanted to share one of my worst BF2 moments, you know, the kind that makes out scream in anger at your computer. Hey, if YOU got one, why not share it?

Gulf of Oman: 25th of june: 16:34 GTM

You know I love transporting troops, and how annoyed we all become when we get shot down. Well, the other day, I was taxing to the coast in my beautiful black hawk, only one seat open, and i hear a special ops cry out for a lift. Sure thing buddy, I go down and land so that he can easily enter. And wait, and wait "MOUT UP" I yell, but he just answers "roger that", and waits, so I shrug and take off. *KABOOM* the little ******* had C4'd my chopper while I landed to pick him up!

That pissed me off to no degree, and on top of that, BF's screwed up damage system decided to pin my teams deaths on me, so I got booted for teamkilling.

The rank system in BF2 is not well implemented.

yea that happend to me too.. I wanted to be the cool blackhawk guy so I practiced alone w/ my nice joystick, and now I am really good... so my first time out i was sitting on the deck of the carrier and havefull a load and this guy is just starin at me while i take off... well I figured that he was just mad b/c he didnt get a ride... well i got halfway to the coast and BOOM!... mother[Edited] decided it would be nice to stick c4 on me... and your right it does pin the TK's on you... altho i was luck enough not to get kicked, i guess they chose to forgive.

I have been playing on this reall good server for a few hours now and me and this other guy had really had some great teamwork going and i really started to respect him. But one time i'm on the carrier im in the attck helicopter wating for a gunner, and all of a sudden i see him. my action's... "get in get in, " instead of getting in he run's over to the black hawk and tell's me to get in. So i decided that i could get some good teamwork if i followed him. I get in the gunner seat of the black hawk and as soon as this happen's he run's out and get's in MY attack helicopter....LITTLE PUNK scamed me out of my bird.

and that's not the worst. HE FLY'S OF WITHOUT ME.....

After that my respect for him just dropped to an all time low....this may not be that big a deal to most of you but i really hate thievery.

yes. i agree. there is way too much teamkilling and other buddyscrewing going on on all those servers. i guess the only solution is a competent admin.

I'll just say in general, If no one is in squads, find a different server.

Symptoms of this include:

Every one is a vehicle whore, No one actually fights.

Most think its funny to landmine/c4 whatever vehicle you are driving.

Two things that happenend that just bug me:
Playing in Mastuur city as commander. We are doing well, despite the fact that only one squad is listening to me. Either way, a large enemy force moves into one of our bases. I drop artillery there, as there are no freindlies. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't every arty strike by your commander designate by a gigantic red pulsing symbol on your minimap?Our little pubbing no squad geniouses decide that they should charge the base and attack it. My artillery misses the enemy completely and kills about 8 guys on my team, who rushed into the base.

Other thing that bugs me: I hit a teammate while driving a buggy at the speed of .5mph and it killed him. Im not even kidding. I tapped W for a tiny bit, and half a second before the buggy stopped, a guy runs in the way, and it kills him. GRAH i hate that.

I've done approx. 60 teamkills due to people being idiots around my vehicles. This includes:

- Jumping in front of my tank
- Trying the "Wing Rider" thing from BF42
- Running in front of my tanks while I'm shooting! Directly into my gun no less
- "Forgetting" to turn on their parachute
- Running to my heli and getting squashed underneath (these are priceless, and they never forgive)
- Standing on the airfield as I take off in a jet *WHOMP*

And of course, everyone dies if you even nick them the teensy slitghtest bit with a jeep.

that c4ing the helicopter stuff is just stupid, ive had a bunch of people try it to me but its only worked once or twice, this is because im lucky enough to end up with a gunner or two who sees the guys plan and wastes him before he can set or detonate the c4, so there is some hope.

as for my most annoying tk moment, im flying a cobra around in operation clean sweep, id just landed and rearm/repaired and i take off and start out towards the water. now, my graphics are turned way down, so i cant see anything very far away, especially when its coming at me at 600mph like this jet was. he was trying to rearm by flying over the airfield, i was probably 200 ft off the ground and he comes barrelling straight into me. everyone knows a jet is more agile than a chopper in this game, still he doesnt make any changes while im frantically trying to get up and away from this maniac. so, he smashes into me, and the TK is MY FAULT??!?!?! explain that to me please! and the worst part is, he punishes me, for him slamming into me, i get punished. i was ready to put a foot through my monitor.

the tking system in bf2 is buggy. you get the tk when you didn't make it.

anyway since most servers kick/ban after a few punished tks when i see a tker i provoke it a bit because there's nothing to lose anyway and i just punish everytime. you have no idea how satisfying it is to see the disconnected/kicked/banned messages appear.

with the way TKing is set up in BF2 its impossible not to... i wouldnt be suprised if i LOOKED at a guy as he took a header off a cliff and i got blamed for it.

i ABSOULTLY despise the BF2 TK system, when i first read about it sounded like a great idea! but i beleive its -8 points for a tk that oyu get punished for? now too many times have i been commander, told my troops i was throwin down arty, and like someone said A BIG RED PULSING signal is on their thing.... they get blown up, then punish? i get SO pissed, it just flips my switch in a second, and its usually followed by a

now i usually feel better after that... but on VERY rare occasions when something like that happens, right after i say it i get a "sorry! i hit the page down on accident!" then i feel kind of bad.

and another thing that happens sometimes is someone tks me on porpose and i confidently hit the page up button....then slap my forehead....

the system is SO flawed, but i think i like dealing with the tkers of the past better then dealing with BECOMING the tker through this crapy system.

Here is MY black hawk story. playing gulf of omen, back in the demo days (hah it was only last week) and i had a full chopper, we took over 2 flags, i was doing some great piloting if i do say so myself, we finally get shot down, so me and the guys all spawn back at the ship, everyone hops in, they save me my drivers seat, and we end up with more people then expected... there are about 4-5 people on the deck, one of them C-4s me, so i take out all 5 people in my heli, and 4-5 more on the ground... instakicked from the server and banned for 5 minutes, i was FURIOUS!

Id give you guys the IP to the server i love to play on ... but its not showing up today... its the TeamHAF server, 32 reanked server with NO LAG, and you are required to get on a squad i believe, loads of fun... if you can get on the server!

There's a simple cure to this, it's called antiretarded pils..........tell me when you find it, our world really need's it.

On a further note, I only had a humorous experience after bailing my blackhawk. I had flewn far above the sky layers (which i guess would normally stall the engine) And I decide to jump, so I tell my crew that we'll be bailing. And just as we jump, one of them writes "How u use chute?" and while the rest of us safely floats down, he comes hurdeling past us with 200mph towards the field below. I mean, I would have said "press nine" but I decided he might as well learn it the hard (and bloody) way. So instead I yell "WATCH OUT BELOW!"

Later learned that he actually HIT an enemy smack on. they both died.

Here is what happened to me:

I am in a base with 2 other guys. We had just captured it. Thne in the sky I see a blackhawk nose diving at us. We are MEC. Not enog time to get out of way so I shoot at copit with my medic unlock. hen somehow I kills the pilot. I am like YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but then the blackhawk crashed into my teammates and I got TKED. I AM LIKE OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and they punished me.

and the story about the guy landing on another, talk about a friggin goomba kill!!!

that reminds me of RTCW there was this server that had all sorts of special scores the end. Like most kills with the medics syringe, and most flamethrower kills, most knife kills, and satchel charge kills. and the best was a goomba kill, when your at hte top of a ladded hop down and have a guy literally break your fall costing him his life =)

The TK system works partly like this: The driver of the vehicle is responsible for every passenger. If they die NOT due to an enemy, it's the pilots fault.

No idea why they programmed that.

They need to retool the TK system to forgive the accidental running over a guy and the infamous running over freindly mines (should take the tk points away from the retard that did it.) and make it punish the guy who blatently shot or blew his teammates to kindgom come.

Me = going to be playing PR which = community of mature people who want realistic combat, not leet kiddies who can uber own everyone.... on thier own team.

Oh noes! I was on a server with a no kicking policy, and some guy named Shizzle had minus 1100 points for teamkilling! It was insane! luckily he was on the other team, and he was so good at TK'ing that he just wiped them over and over, it was amazingly stupid.

Oh, that leads me to this.

Remove the voting system! It's a total bugger, and only serves to annoy, and nothing ever gets decided that way. (I know I can opt out of voting, but that's lame, since there are SOME servers where people aren't jackasses about voting)
